On Tuesday, 14th July, a 3 v 3 tournament took place in Machynlleth, Powys. The results were as follows (15 minute games):
Newtown Titans 24-4 Machynlleth 'A'
Newtown Titans 24-5 Machynlleth 'B'
Machynlleth 'A' 18-4 Machynlleth 'B'
Mid Wales Basketball Chairman Guy Evans said: "The primary focus of the day was enjoyment and a fun day was had by all. It should be noted that the Machynlleth team are a couple of years younger than the Newtown team that was fielded, and I was very impressed that they were able to compete with an older side."
